Magic Circle– Make a loop, leaving a long tail to work with. Insert hook in center of loop, yarn over and draw up a loop. Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew on the head. Pinch the bottom of the ear to make a little crease and sew a few stitches to hold the shape. I sewed them about 6 rows from the last row of the head. I attached them so that they stand mostly straight, lined up with the eyes.

Tail
Chain to 20. Slip stitch in the second chain from hook and in each chain across. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew on. I made 5 in 5 different colors. Sew on the bottom. I attached it with a needle and then tied underneath the piece.

Mane
I chose 5 different colors (same as the tail) and made 4 pieces in each color. Made the same way as the tail by chaining to the desired length and then slip stitching in each chain. I made two that were 25 chains, one that was 20, and one that was 15. The smaller ones go in the front, and the longer ones toward the back.

Flowers
In a magic circle SC 5. Slip stitch to the first stitch. *Chain 5. Slip stitch in the same stitch. Slip stitch over the next.* Repeat * * 4 more times for a total of 5 petals. I made three and sewed them in front and around the horn.
